Alluvial Jamz - Producer Terms and Conditions

Description of service

The Alluvial Jamz Producer initiative aims at exposing the skills that Malawian music producers have and connecting them with local artists through showcasing the songs that were made/produced by those producers.

On the Producer page, Artists may be able to visit producers and examine if the producers work satisfies their needs or meets their standards

Eligibility criteria

• A Producer should send not less than 6 songs that he produced for his page to be created.
• A producer should send any image that represents his brand like a logo of a picture of his equipment
• A producers should send us a description of his business and contact article like a phone number, email address and social media links(optional)

Payment terms

Producer pages or profiles will be created for free but their songs will be charged at MWK 1,000 each. There will be no additional fees to keep the producer pages visible to Alluvial Jamz users or visitors

Payments will only be made by producers once they have songs to be uploaded on the website and on their catalogue/page.

Cancellation policy

Any producer will be required to send more than 3 songs per week. The producer’s page will not be visible to the users if this condition has been violated

Once a producer page has been hidden to the users, it will be re-instated after sending us 4 songs.

NOTE: Even when the producer page is not visible to the users, all songs he uploaded on the page will still be accessible to the users through the home page trending section or the songs page.

Intellectual property

All Producers should only send music audios that were recorded or produced by them. All ownership disputes and court cases raised through copyright Infringement will be dealt with by the producer himself and it will not be Alluvial Jamz’s responsibility.

Dispute resolution

The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement through friendly negotiations amongst parties. If the matter is not resolved by negotiation, mediation and or arbitration will be considered.

Changes to terms

Any changes to these terms will be communicated to all producers and these terms and conditions will continue to be used to the extent it is legally enforceable

Termination

Once the producer page has been created, the agreement between the producer and Alluvial Jamz will be terminated after the Producer has spent a whole month without sending any songs to Alluvial Jamz or when he has decided to cancel the agreement. Termination of the agreement also means that the Producer account will be entirely deleted from the website
